Founder
Erik Schwartz, principal ecologist and founder of Capital Land & Water, has 20 years of experience in fish and wildlife habitat assessment, technical reporting, permitting, and environmental compliance review. He is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist and has successfully led environmental permitting and project planning for private and public clients throughout Washington and the Northwest region. Additionally, Erik has been a primary author leading ecological aspects of complex planning documents such as habitat conservation plans, shoreline master programs, flood management plans, and regional stormwater management plans.
